What a busy week!  We had a very important visitor at the start of the week.  Bishop Michael Campbell, who was very friendly, came to visit our school.  He came to speak to Year 4 and see what work we were doing, before visiting the other classes.  We really enjoyed Bishop Michael's visit and he inspired us to think about how we can grow closer to God during Lent.

On Wednesday, Deacon Michael and Deacon William led our Ash Wednesday Liturgy.  It was very special and we all thought about the special promises we have made for Lent.

Also this week, we began learning skills in Hockey in PE, which we really enjoyed!

On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day by having a book swap, where we traded our old books.  We also enjoyed coming back to school in our PJ's for 'Book at Bedtime' and delicious hot chocolate.

Next week, we will be going on the Life Bus and we are really looking forward to it!
