2 February 2018

Another very busy week. I am getting to know the children's ways now and they are getting to know mine! We are learning together.

This week in English we have been reading the story of Farmer Duck and doing lots of writing from it. Such as learning about time connectives and connectives. We are concentrating hard on remembering our full stops, capital letters and finger spaces.

In Maths we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes and their properties see how many you can spot on your way around outside or at home.

In RE we continue to learn about Jesus' miracles and that he was showing hewas the Son of God. We are beginning to look forward to Lent and we had s visitor during assembly today Mr Smeed who told us all about the mission in Peru to help older people. Your child will have come home with a smartie tube today to fill with coins and return to school. This money will then get sent off to Peru. This is a great way to start our Lenten journey.
