Reception week ending 04/05/18

We have had a very excting week! All of the caterpilliars are finally in their chrysalis! The children managed to observe the last caterpilliar wriggling around to get itself into the chrysalis, and talked about how the caterpillairs have changed over the past few weeks. Our tadpoles are still tadpoles but huge. The children measured some of them and again talked about what will happen next.

We have got some real working microphones and musical instruments and Mrs Woodhouse has made the children an amazing stage to perform on. The children were so excited to dance and sing on the stage to their favourite songs!

In Maths we have been looking at time, finding o'clock on a clock face and then the children have made a clock so they can show different o'clock times.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend from Miss Murgratroyd, Miss Smith and Mrs Woodhouse.
