We have had a busy week in Reception.  We made pancakes in class and the children took turns in tossing them and created their own delicious toppings.

Outside we were busy in the role-play area where Miss Latham created a pancake kitchen and the children took the opportunity to be the chef and served each other pancakes with pompom sprinkles!

In the outdoor classroom the children enjoyed singing with the micro-phone and performing on the stage, well known classics such as 'Let it go', and 'Happy'.

Finally World Book Character Day was a success.  Well done to all the parents who worked so hard to create costumes. The children told us all about their favourite book characters.  Julia Donaldson characters were a particular favourite this year, and the class were delighted with Miss Murgatryod's Gruffalo costume.
