Another great week. This half term we will be learning about keeping ourselves fit and healthy. Mrs Doyle came in to help us understand heart rate, what it is, how it changes and how to calculate our maximum heart rate. She also told us the importance of raising your heart rate every day (trying to go into the anaerobic rate for a short period of time).

The organised games at lunchtime on Thursday got very exciting as it was Year6’s turn to go on the new Space-hoppers. It certainly looks like fun.

The class photograph was taken on Monday. Everyone looked really smart.

On Monday morning (weather permitting) we will be going into Squirrel Wood to take part in the Big School Bird Watch and on Tuesday afternoon we will be working in Squirrel Wood, moving wood chip into the hen area. A letter has gone home with homework, explaining what is needed for this.
