A great week. We started a new class novel: Once by Morris  Gleitzman. It’s a good read and already we have used it for a writing focus. We have written an official report as an orphanage inspector. Wednesday was a busy day. First thing in the morning we made pizzas. This was part of our DT Food topic from last half term, linking to healthy lifestyles. The pizzas were rather thick-based, well-cooked but actually quite tasty.

After this we joined the rest of the school for our Ash Wednesday Liturgy. Lent has begun.

On Wednesday evening Luke was presented with a prize and certificate (Highly Recommended) for his artwork. This was part of the children’s art exhibition at the Heritage Centre, Lytham. Well done Luke. You are a talented artist.

Next Thursday is World Book Day. Have you got your character costume ready?
