Well the photo above signifies what we have been focussing on this week.

I thought you might like to see what we have been up to.

Monday- We celebrated all things Odd Socks. It was great fun to wear odd Socks to school. We watched an assembly led by Andy and the Odd Socks of CBeebies. This was highlighting that we are all unique. We also watched the video of “The Kids are united” Y2 were in it!

Tuesday-We made sock puppets to mime along to the song.

Wednesday- We learnt about how we can all play our part in stopping bullying and filled in a jigsaw puzzle piece to form one big puzzle-working together united as a class team against bullying.

Thursday- We learnt some words to to describe the part each person may play in bullying.such as ringleader, target, defender. We did some drama and freeze frame to demonstrate our knowledge.

Friday- We had a whole school Assembly on Zoom. This was greatly because we could show off what we had been doing and share with the school. It was also really interesting to find out what other classes had been doing. Thank you to Caoimhe and Tom for leading our class when it was our turn.

A great end to a fun week. But remembering a very important message “The Kids are United” against bullying.

I can hardly believe that we are fast approaching the run up to Christmas and Advent.

Thank you to those children who have been practising their lines for the simple Nativity we are doing. Please remember to bring in your costumes as soon as possible.

Also remember to bring in your money for the Christmas Jumper day see below.
