Goodness me October already that came around quickly. The weather is certainly changing. Please make sure you have a named coat in school.

 

This week in Maths we have been learning how to use a numberline to count on and back to help us solve addition and subtraction problems.

We continue to practise our letter formation and simple sentence writing, as well as phonics in reading. Please make sure you bring your reading folder to school.

This week we were learning about where different animals live and how they are adapted to their environments. Very excitingly I have managed to organise a Virtual session with Chester Zoo on the 18th October to compliment our learning.

In RE this week we have been learning about Cafod new campaign. This year they are encouraging people to Go Green to protect God’s beautiful world. We are the stewards of God’s creation and Pope Francis also encourages us look after it.
