On Friday 5th October the whole school enjoyed a day of celebration.  Our school building was 50 years old ! The day started with visits to the classes from past pupils and teachers. A big 'thank you' is extended to Mrs Warwick, Mrs Drake, Mrs Brown, Mrs Keegan, Mrs Freeland and Katy for sharing their memories with us.  It was very interesting to find out their stories particularly the discipline! Mrs Warwick was able to talk about her time as a student teacher and as a pupil. 5 generations her family have attended St Peter's. The children enjoyed a special celebration lunch and thanks goes to Mrs Fontana- our school cook- for the super blue and yellow cakes! The children looked fantastic in their party clothes and the staff enjoyed the opportunity to dress retro for the day.  It has been a wonderful opportunity to look back at photographs of times gone by and to spot the familiar faces.
