SEN Information Report
All schools must now publish information on their websites about the implementation of the governing body’s policy for pupils with SEN and also make available to Parents the Local Offer established by the Local Authority.
The information published in the attached document will be updated annually and any changes to the information occurring during the year will be updated as soon as possible.
Our aim is to ensure that all the information is easily accessible to young people and parents and is set out in clear, straightforward language. Our SEN policy with named contacts within the school is also available in this section.
Pupil's who are identified as having special educational or additional needs are given the support they need to overcome the barriers to their learning and access to the Curriculum. Packages of support are designed around the individual.
Our SENCO is Mrs J Hazeldine and Family Learning Mentor is Miss K Seed.
At St Peter's we work alongside a whole range of specialist professionals including Educational Psychology, the school nursing team and specialist teacher service.
